On an area of 34 thousand square meter designated right behind the Sakarya Training and Research Hospital located in Sakarya Korucuk Region, 3 blocks of Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine have been planned, Block A with a closed area of 6000 sqm will be built as Deanship Block, Block B with a closed area of 6000 sqm will be built as Classes and Laboratory Block, and Block C with a closed area of 6000 sqm will be built as Teaching Assistants Block. In the Block B which requires urgent construction and includes classes and laboratories of students, there are 6 classrooms, 12 laboratories, 30 administrative Offices and Teaching Assistants’ Room, café of 300 sqm and Cafeteria of 400 sqm. Block B was put in the tender on 11.05.2010 within the scope of Public Procurement Law no 4734, contracted with a price of 5.560.000 TRY and delivered on 12.07.2010. Work completion date was specified in allowances provided in the Contract as 06.01.2013; in the event of supplementary allowance, it may be engaged in an earlier date.
